Abby Klatsky

Principal Designer & Owner

Abby has always been fascinated with interior design and the affect it has on mood, memory creation and an interior’s ability to inspire. Originally from Connecticut, Abby was surrounded by New England interiors and their subtle country charm. After a decade of traveling and living in NYC, she developed a taste for modern design but never lost her love of antique and vintage treasures. Abby leans towards a modern vintage style as she focuses on clean lines, rich colors, and one-of-a-kind antiques that help give your space a well-traveled feel. You will find Abby to be straight forward, honest, and even more passionate about your home design than you are. She specializes in using a home’s existing personality and injecting style, cohesion and functionality. Abby values honesty and integrity over all else and everything she does relies on those values.

Abby currently resides in Hamilton, NY with her husband, Dave, and their two little boys, Harrison and Leo. Another important member of their family is a kooky little fluffball cockapoo named Hux who loves socks almost as much as he loves them. You can usually find Abby at her home/office at the top of a hill in Hamilton, NY overlooking Colgate University and the gorgeous countryside it sits on. Abby’s husband coaches basektball at Colgate and was The Ivory Slate’s first client and Abby’s #1 fan.
